Directions: Note that construction is causing new traffic patterns. Exit 3 for Hillsborough Street off of 440 Beltline (going West/South) is closed with a detour. Please consult your GPS before heading out. Directions are available here.
Check In by 5:00 PM:Â Please come to the McSwain Education Center and head into the offices on the right side of the building to Volunteer Check In.
Here you will sign in, get any last minute information before going to your assignment.
Lighting Luminaria:Â If you can help, pick up a lighter when you sign in. All luminaria around the gardens need to be lit by 5:30 pm when our gates open for guests.
Black Light Chalk Art: Encourage guests to use chalk to decorate the chalk boards!
Apple Cider Stands: Serve hot apple cider to guests
Extinguishing Luminaria:Â If you can help, pick up a turkey baster. We start putting out the candles working from the Rose Garden forward starting at 9:31 pm.
Snacks: Volunteer snacks will be located in the McSwain Center kitchen. There are also food trucks at the event if you would like to go during your break!
