Honoring Deah, Yusor, and Razan Through Service

Deah Barakat, Yusor Abu-Salha, and Razan Abu-Salha had big dreams of making the world a better place. One of Deah’s final Facebook posts showed him and Yusor distributing food and free dental supplies to the homeless. Razan, too, was a familiar face at Raleigh’s Moore Square, where she regularly provided meals and left personal notes of encouragement for those in need.

Since 2015, a yearly food drive has been held in their honor, turning community generosity into just under 400,000 meals for North Carolinians facing hunger.

​

This year, we aim to do it again! Final collection and packaging will take place on February 23—can you help us surpass 450,000 meals?
